A delicious and healthy frozen treat featuring banana sandwiches filled with peanut butter and dipped in dark chocolate.

Ingredients

2 medium-ripe bananas
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup dark sugar-free chocolate chips
1 tsp coconut oil
Flaky sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice the bananas into 1/2-inch thick rounds.
  2. Place half of the slices on a parchment-lined sheet and spread peanut butter on each.
  3. Top with a second banana slice to create a sandwich and freeze for 30 minutes.
  4. Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave in 30-second intervals.
  5. Dip each frozen sandwich into the melted chocolate using a fork.
  6. Sprinkle with salt if desired and freeze for another 30 minutes until set.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 months.
  • Let sit for 2 minutes before eating for a creamier texture.
